I fell in love with Edukos the moment I stepped foot inside this Venezuelan-American tavern and I know you will too! Join us for an adventurous Venezuelan American-inspired food and wine event. Guests will join Chef Manuel Cabeza Buscarini for a Spring Roll class, while enjoying bites and wine-inspired cocktails throughout the night.

Dear Mama Wine Cocktail: Inspired and in memory of my mom, the Dear Mama cocktail is made with sparkling wine, basil-infused mango juice and lemon and kiwi-infused simple syrup. Learn more here.

About Edukos & Chef Manuel Cabeza
Founded by John Guilarte, Edukos began as an idea. John was a Miami home brewer who wanted to give people a space to experience craft beer and new foods. In a highly competitive Miami restaurant market, John took the leap of faith and opened a restaurant where foodies, beer, wine and cocktail lovers could discover new things and people in Little Havana (a neighborhood staple in Miami). John believes that when people feel welcomed at a restaurant, they will be more open to trying new things. John created the Edukos brand to stand for a welcoming space to eat, drink, and explore new things. From its name to its menu, Edukos’ mission is to create a memorable drinking and dining experience.
Edukos is the true definition of family and achieving the ‘American Dream’. John is a child of Venezuelan Immigrants who began their U.S. journey almost 40 years ago. A twin with 5 siblings (4 boys and 2 girls), they are a very close-knit family. The fusion of the Edukos concept was inspired from their Venezuelan family culture (food, drinks and music). With one goal in mind, John wants to create a legacy for his family. Inspired by his mother’s recipes and love of food with his father’s analytical and hyper detailed mind, Edukos strives to provide a Venezuelan American dining adventure in a family environment.
About Edukos Chef Manuel Cabeza
Chef Manuel Cabeza has been with Edukos since opening. Originally from Venezuela, Chef moved to the U.S. two years ago and is making his way to becoming one of Miami's youngest and best chefs. Chef has worked in Venezuela, Spain, the Caribbean, and now Miami. At twenty-five years old, he holds the position of Chef de Cuisine for Edukos and is slowly helping Edukos change the face of Venezuelan food and culture across South Florida.

Pablo Suarez with The Wine Maverick has 4 years of wine sales experience and is WSET Level 2 certified. Like Wine With Nat™, Pablo describes himself as a millennial wine lover on a mission to shy away from stuffy pretenses in order to make wine fun and approachable.
