On October 26th, the Women Who Wine community gathered at local hidden gem, Casabe 305 Bistro for an intimate Charcuterie and Spanish wine pairing event. Guests were welcomed with a glass of Bodegas Torre Oria Cava Brut.
The wine pairing experience was led by Sommelier for Hidalgo Imports, Martha Rodriguez and included:
- La Gitana Manzanilla 'Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana' from Sanlucar de Barrameda, Spain
- Cune Crianza 'Bodegas CVNE' from Rioja, Spain
- Alidis Roble 'Bodegas Viña Mambrilla' from Ribera del Duero, Spain
Wines were paired with a Charcuterie experience led by Chef Diego Texera and included: fresh Mozzarella, Bocconcini Caprese Pinchos, Duck Magret with fire roasted Panini, natural Prosciutto and Asiago cheese with fire roasted Panini, and an array of cured meats and aged cheeses.
