Women Who Wine "Uncorked Conversations" at Eat Greek Midtown 6.21.17

Let's just say that it was a memorable Women Who Wine "Uncorked Conversations" event. 

On June 21, 2017, over 30 like-minded women and wine lovers gathered at Eat Greek Midtown for a Greek-inspired food and wine pairing with real conversations.

The night started with a family style food and wine pairing that included:

  1. Fried Zucchini and Assorted Dips: Tzatziki and Baba Ghanoush paired with Chic Barcelona Brut Cava
  2. Greek Salad paired with Santa Rita Secret Reserve Sauvignon Blanc
  3. Lamb and Pork Chops, Chicken and Pork Souvlaki, Chicken and Lamb Gyro paired with Santa Rita Secret Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
  4. Baklava and Greek Yogurt with honey and fruit paired with Santa Rita Secret Reserve Pinot Noir  

After the pairing, guest speaker, Dr. Sonjia Kenya, best-selling author, professor of medicine, and clinical sexologist opened up the conversation on strategies to achieve and sustain your ultimate sexual relationship. 

Good food and wine, great conversations, amazing company, and a lot of laughs. Doesn't get much better than that!

Women Who Wine "Uncorked Conversations" at Off The Mile 5.24.17

Another amazing Women Who Wine "Uncorked Conversations" for the books!

On May 24, 2017, over 30 like-minded women and wine lovers gathered at Off The Mile restaurant in Coral Gables for an intimate Cuban-inspired food and wine pairing with real conversations.

The pairing was led by Wine Specialist with Breakthru Beverage Group, Pablo Suarez (a.k.a. @TheWineMaverick) and included:

  1. Croquetas paired with Benvolio, Prosecco (NV)
  2. Frita Sliders and Crema de Malanga paired with La Crema, Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
  3. Beef and Chicken Vaca Frita with white rice and maduros paired with Freemark Abbey Winery, Napa Valley Merlot
  4. Assorted pastelitos de guayaba and queso paired with Crowded House, Sauvignon Blanc.

Guest speaker, Nikki Novo (@NikkiNovo), spiritual mentor and medium opened up the conversation on spirituality and the role it plays in our daily lives and challenges.

Let's just say it was a very special evening filled with good food and wine, great conversations, and even better company.

Women Who Wine "Uncorked Conversations" at The Loft 305 4.27.17

On Thursday, April 27, 2017, like-minded women and wine lovers gathered at the breathtaking venue, The Loft 305 for an intimate food and wine pairing with real women and real conversations. The first “Uncorked Conversations” was special and filled with relatable conversations and great food and wine.

Mia Anzola Manrique treated guests to a delicious family style dinner paired with ZONIN Prosecco and wines:

Balsamic Strawberry & Parma Ham Crostinis paired with Zonin Prosecco

Appetizer:

Spring Salad with Grilled Shrimps and Italian Herbs Dressing paired with Piattelli Torrontes 2014

Ricotta Donuts with Chocolate Ganache paired with Ognigiorno Lambrusco dell’Emilia

Cork & Fork "Sneak Preview" Event at Da Tang Unique 1.25.17

On Wednesday, January 25th 2017, Wine With Nat and Kiwanis Little Havana hosted the second Cork & Fork Sneak Preview Event. Over 50 guests gathered at Da Tang Unique inside the Four Ambassador Brickell for a sneak preview of Cork & Fork 2017. Guests enjoyed a walk-around wine tasting sponsored by Palm Bay International Wines.

On Wednesday, November 30th 2016, over 50 Miami wine lovers gathered at 320 Gastrolounge at Village of Merrick Park for a "sneak preview" of Cork & Fork 2017. Hosted by Wine With Nat and Kiwanis of Little Havana, guests enjoyed a walk-around wine tasting sponsored by Palm Bay International Wines.

WOMEN WHO WINE AT CASABE 305 BISTRO 10.26.16

On Wednesday, October 26, 2016, 25 women and wine lovers gathered for Women Who Wine at hidden gem, Casabe 305 Bistro for an intimate Charcuterie and Spanish wine pairing event.

Guests were welcomed with a glass of wine, Cava Brut 'Bodegas Torre Oria' from Valencia, Spain for the networking portion of the event, and before the wine tasting started.

Venezuelan Chef Diego Texera complimented the wine pairing with a Charcuterie experience that included: fresh Mozzarella, Bocconcini Caprese Pinchos, Duck Magret with fire roasted Panini, natural Prosciutto and Asiago cheese with fire roasted Panini, and an array of cured meats and aged cheeses.

The Spanish wine pairing experience was led by Sommelier for Hidalgo Imports, Martha Rodriguez and included:

  1. La Gitana Manzanilla 'Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana' from Sanlucar de Barrameda, Spain
  2. Cune Crianza 'Bodegas CVNE' from Rioja, Spain
  3. Alidis Roble 'Bodegas Viña Mambrilla' from Ribera del Duero, Spain

Guests had such a great experience that they stayed around to enjoy more of Chef Diego Texera's signature dishes (I did too) and vinito.
