Carnaval Miami Cork & Fork Festival "Sneak Preview" Event at 320 Gastrolounge
In anticipation of the 2nd Annual Carnaval Miami Cork & Fork food and wine festival March 4 & 5, 2017, Wine With Nat and the Kiwanis of Little Havana invite you to a “sneak preview” event at 320 Gastrolounge on Wednesday, November 30. Wine down and join us for a walk-around tasting featuring six wines and Latin-Asian Cuisine by Chef John Joseph.

About 320 Gastrolounge
Nestled within the Shops at Merrick Park, 320 Gastrolounge invites you to wine down and enjoy an array of Latin-Asian fusion cuisine. The restaurant features a main dining area, an outdoor patio and a lounge area. A modern industrial affair, the lounge is outfitted with natural woods and exposed concrete tables.
Helming the kitchen at 320 is Chef Juan Aguero (aka Chef John Joseph), a native of Lima, Peru. Chef John Joseph honed his culinary skills and masterful plating techniques while working in the kitchens of NYC’s Banc Café and Giovanna, and later as the Executive Sous Chef of Piripi in Coral Gables. He’s now brought his culinary talent and innovative vision to 320 Gastrolounge where he’s putting a fresh spin on Latin and Asian cuisine using locally-sourced ingredients. 320 Gastrolounge also boasts a full-service bar offering an extensive menu of beer, wine and uniquely crafted drinks. Helming the cocktail program is Thomas Merolla of Traditional Cocktail Company, who’s putting a farm fresh twist on classic and modern cocktails for the lounge.

Color: Greenish yellow with golden hues. Fine and persistent perlage.
Aroma: Citrus, lime and green apple aromas.
Taste: Elegant and distinctive, with white fruit notes and a refreshing acidity.
YEALANDS ESTATE SINGLE VINEYARD SAUVIGNON BLANC
Country: New Zealand
Region: Awatere Valley
Grape Varieties: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Color: Medium lemon.
Aroma: Fresh fruit aromas such as blackcurrant intermingle with fresh herbs and citrus.
Taste: The palate is elegant and richly textured with a distinctive mineral note on the finish.
SANTA RITA MEDALLA REAL CARMENERE
Region: Colchagua Valley
Grape Varieties: 100% Carménère
Color: Deep and intense ruby red.
Aroma: A complex bouquet that combines fresh black fruits and spicy notes with elegantly defined oak to heighten the wine’s chocolate and vanilla characteristics.
Taste: A big and flavorful wine that is concentrated and persistent with elegant tannins.
FAUSTINO V RESERVA
Region: Rioja Alavesa
Grape Varieties: 92% Tempranillo; 8% Mazuelo
Color: Garnet red.
Aroma: Lovely scents of hickory and red plum, clove and cocoa.
Taste: A medium-bodied wine with flavors of ripe strawberries, cherries and raspberries with leather and cedar notes and a long, silky finish.
SALENTEIN RESERVE MALBEC
Region: Valle de Uco, Mendoza
Grape Varieties: 100% Malbec
Color: Medium ruby.
Aroma: Ripe plums, cherries and blackberries are complemented by a hint of tobacco.
Taste: A balanced and complex wine with flavors of redcurrants, black cherries and cinnamon with a long lasting finish marked by notes of leather, tobacco and vanilla.
DRY SACK 15 YEAR OLD OLOROSO SHERRY
Grape Varieties: A blend of 78% Dry Oloroso and 22% Pedro Jimenez Sherries
Color: Warm mahogany.
Aroma: Very fragrant with aromas of raisins, figs, roasted nuts, oak and vanilla.
Taste: Full-bodied with a complex, lingering finish.
