I’m not the same girl…2018 changed me. For the first time in my life, I gave myself permission to put myself first. And I learned how to embrace the curveballs and changes in my life. I admit that I wasn’t always on my a-game with my brands and businesses. Or present for everyone and their needs. But that’s because I was being kind to myself.
The truth is that life will throw you curveballs sooner or later. And at times it will suck.
No puedo (I cannot)! In case you haven’t noticed my hashtag #goingwiththeflow in my social media posts, that has been my ‘motto to live by’ for the majority of this year. But I cannot ‘go with the flow’ anymore, and I’m going to tell you why ‘going with the flow’ is not a good thing.
Sexual women do exist and that doesn’t make them any different or unworthy of acceptance and belonging –respect! Gents, sexual talk is important and crucial to women’s wellness. And just like it’s okay for you to talk about sex and want it, women are allowed to talk about it and want it too without feeling shame. Ladies, it's time to embrace your sexuality and not feel ashamed about it.

We can never forget the painful memories from our past, but we can make peace with them. In my last post, How To Deal With Difficult Times, I talked about a series of events that transported me back to some of the most painful times from my past. In an effort to co-heal with (you) others, I offered some coping tools still helping me today.
Last year, I made the courageous decision to share my story. While my story has been closely related to family, I know (you) others can relate to adversity. Writing (sometimes videos) has been my way of dealing with difficult times and healing, while empowering others to co-heal with me.
Whoever told you that time heals all wounds was wrong. I’m here to tell you otherwise. In my last inspirational post, The Real Root of Anger, I spoke about confronting painful feelings to make positive ones. It isn’t until we get in touch with our feelings and deal with the source of our pain that we heal, let go, and grow.

After a summer hiatus, excited to announce the next Women Who Wine® event. And I’ve decided to spice things up and welcome gentlemen for this very special event. Join the Women Who Wine® community for an “Aphrodisiac food and wine tasting” at ABC Fine Wine & Spirits ‘North Miami Beach’ to support Day of Caring for Breast Cancer Awareness.
You are in for a special treat! Guest speakers, Paul Quaglini, Nathan Dale and Larry Baker of ABC Fine Wine & Spirits will be transporting you through an aphrodisiac food and wine tasting. You will be sampling 16 wines paired with bites, as well as a scotch and bourbon sampling. And for all my Bourbon lovers, you’ll be able to enter a raffle for a “Pappy Van Winkle” bottle for purchase.
This foodie and wine lover recently ate and sipped her way through Las Vegas (the scale confirmed it). If you are anything like me, you appreciate good eateries and places to wine down in tourist areas, which is why I compiled this list for you. I even included two wineries an hour away from the Vegas strip.
On Thursday, May 26th, I headed off to Jamaica again for business, but this time, with the hubby. I had just been there a few weeks before to learn more about a chocolate business opportunity. Following my first trip, I realized just how special this project was and here is why.
This November, I headed to the windy city with my hubby. He had to attend a conference for work, and I jumped at the opportunity to join him. Going to Chicago meant seeing my brother and 5-month-old niece, while also visiting some food and wine spots to share with you.
